Here we are at Fox Elementary School’s annual Strawberry Street Festival, in May 2009. The kids’ class was the star of the show for this event.

Here are some photos from one demo we did in support of the Girls For Change, which is a local organization for middle school students who hope to make a difference in their lives and the lives of those around them. The Girls For Change  invited us to their event to talk a little bit about self defense and how it works – to address the need everyone has to feel safe in their own neighborhood, and in their own skin. This event was a rally with the theme of

“Respect and appreciate people everywhere!”
