Testimonial by Deja, a student in the Richmond Moy Yat Kung Fu Women’s Program

I started doing Ving Tsun because I recently became interested in anime, and they’re so cool because the characters can fight and defend themselves. I was really weak, too lazy to work out, and I probably would have gotten robbed or kidnapped if someone tried to do so.

Richmond Moy Yat Kung Fu Academy Women’s Program – teaching the Ving Tsun (wing chun) system

I’ve been doing Ving Tsun (wing chun) Kung Fu for less than 5 months, and I already love it so much. I’ve learned so much in such a short amount of time. Being a young small female in college, there are a lot of dangers out there, but because of Ving Tsun, I’m not afraid of those dangers the way I used to be.

It has given me power and strength that I never thought I’d have as someone who’s only 5′ 2” and who doesn’t work out. It’s cool to feel strong as “the little guy,” and Ving Tsun is just really cool in general. I’m so glad I started, and I don’t feel like I’ll ever stop.
