Ving Tsun Kung Fu - Master the Science of Martial Arts

Moy Yat Ving Tsun (wing chun) Kung Fu is a martial art, a science of training and fighting distinctive for its emphasis on efficiency and effectiveness. Disciplined Ving Tsun Kung Fu training enables even smaller practitioners to fight naturally and powerfully, dominating and ending fights quickly by disabling or killing opponents, regardless of their techniques or strategy.Ving Tsun is the simply the most efficient and effective means of fighting in self-defense. Centerline practice enables simultaneous attack and defense. Relaxing while training hard and developing strong horse stances is key to developing power - not using strength. The Buddhist nun, Ng Mui, taught her kung fu to a young woman she befriended, Yim Ving Tsun (or Yim Wing Chun). Ving Tsun trained for a short time and then used her kung fu to defeat a warlord in a challenge match – he had been bullying her to marry him.In her mastery of training and fighting, the kung fu system became known for her, and the system has been handed down true to its principles for three centuries. Grandmaster Moy Yat on the Ving Tsun Kung Fu system

"If you are training centerline, you are training Ving Tsun, no matter what you call it; and if you are not, it is not Ving Tsun---even if you call it that."

"The advanced techniques are simply the basic techniques mastered"

“The purpose of Ving Tsun Kung Fu is to lead you to be free and relaxed. This can never be achieved if you are tied physically and emotionally to techniques. You must free yourself from dependence on mechanical expression and trust your body, your kung fu, to protect yourself”
